Jeff shared the fifth and final presentation on Windows 10 for Beginners. The purpose of this series was to inform folks prior to a decision to upgrade to Windows 10 for FREE. The FREE upgrade expires on July 29, 2016. In addition, the contents of these presentations would help people get through the initial stages of a change of operating system.
As most discovered, the change to Windows 10 is NOT significant and is mostly a seamless and trouble-free affair.
In addition, Jeff shared that it is NOT required that one upgrade from Windows 7, 8 or 8.1. These operating systems work fine for what most do with their computers. In fact, most people never upgrade their computer’s operating systems. The only time they get a new operating system is when they purchase a new computer. That’s what most people do.
- This presentation goes through what one can do to prepare themselves and the computer for upgrade.
- What each of the upgrade screens mean and what might have to select.
- How to go back or remove Windows 10 to go back to what they had.
- How to stop the computer from showing the nagging “upgrade to Windows 10” prompts.
