The meeting topic was Malware and Jeff shared that malware is Malicious Software that makes your computer unusable or more of a nuisance depending on the malware.

There are many types of malware and Jeff showed examples of them and how to remove them.

Some malware might very well need additional software to remove them and Jeff shared a couple of them.

Jeff shared Internet Service Providers, the difference between web based email and email applications. He answered many questions from the group including those he prepared.

We are a group of normal people who want to continue using computers in our “golden years”. We are not computer programmers (although a few once were) but simply want to keep at the computer and even learn about some of the new technology available to us. Presentations are geared toward the computer novice.
