Preface-Microsoft’s Automatic Upgrade to Windows 10
Jeff shared a situation Microsoft announced this past week. Not only is the Windows 10 upgrade happening automatically when Windows 7 and 8.1 computers have Windows Update to automatically install Recommended updates, but the option to stop the upgrade has changed to, fundamentally, force the upgrade to take place anyway. Although, I strongly believe the Windows 10 upgrade is worth doing, it should be your individual choice to do so. Therefore, here is another app that removes the Windows 10 upgrade icon from the lower right of the screen and keeps Windows 10 from trying to install itself without you taking the action. The program is called Never 10by Steve Gibson and works quickly and easily.
Microsoft OneNote – A Truely Great Program
Jeff shared how the Microsoft OneNote program, which he has been using since 2003, has allowed him to rely on the program to remember everything he cannot any longer.
