Attendees: 25
Prior to his presentation, Ron showed a computer that has an unusual shape. It was a Mac Mini. Besides the mouse and keyboard, the Mac Mini is about 9 inches square and about 2 inches tall. Yes, that is indeed unusual. It is an Apple so runs the Mac operating system but connects nicely to the internet and displayed tonight’s presentation very well.
Email is one of the most used tools in computing today. Ron’s presentation answered the following questions, and much, much more, so feel free to click the link below to see the presentation.
- What is the definition of email?
- What is ISP and what is it for?
- What do we need to do email?
- How much does email cost?
- How can we get an email address?
- Is it possible to have more than one email address?
- What is the difference between “web mail” and “client mail”?
- If you are a “visual” type person, see the email schematic–very nice.
- Email etiquettes. Ease of reading, attachments, proper addressing, etc.
- What kinds of email security should one consider?
- How can I reduce or avoid SPAM?
- If you are curious about how email works, it’s here too.
