Ride Sharing with Uber and Lyft with Speaker Notes

Jeff shared with ride sharing is and how it is different than using a taxi service. Uber and Lyft took this service from nothing to continuously expanding throughout. Both have now arrived in the Brentwood and east county area and has used both himself.
It is easy to set up and account and use each of the services.
One question was does the price change based on the time of day, if there is lots of scheduled rides or if a ride is scheduled in advance. It appears prices fluctuate. During the meeting we looked at Uber to the San Francisco Airport and the price was a little different than the slide.
As easy as ride sharing is there were many unanswered questions pertaining to reliability when making a future appointment. For instance, scheduling a ride to a local airport. One attendee has used Lyft from Brentwood and the San Jose Airport and had a good experience.
