My No Headache Restore Experience
Jeff shared his recent experience doing a complete restore of his laptop. The laptop is made by HP and running Windows 8.1. Jeff completely erased the laptop and began by reinstalling Windows 8.1. The key elements to the restore was that Jeff reinstalled his apps, then let the documents, photos and videos flow back to the laptop as they were on DropBox, a cloud service. See his presentation below.
One question from the audience was, “how much room do photos take?”. Jeff’s answer was that, on the average “4,000 photos take up 1 gigabyte of space.”
